A wetroom is a waterproof room which contains the entire shower system so there is no need for the conventional shower cubicle, allowing for ease of movement without restriction.
One of the main benefits of a wetroom is that the shower floor is at the same level as the bathroom floor, no need to step in or out of the showering area due to there being no shower tray. This allows ease of use for those with mobility issues. The wetroom area requires less maintenance and cleaning than a usual bathroom thanks to the larger area reached by the shower water. This makes a wetroom a more hygienic option and suitable for all members of the family.
